Our story

The clinic was first set up in 1989 by Mr Roger Neuberg, Mr Allan Davidson, Bernie Bentick, Jane Blower, Mo Thomas and Barbara Wilson.

The vision was simple, to offer tailored fertility treatment to couples across Leicestershire and Rutland.

The team had no clinic and as NHS funding was not yet available for any patients the team relied on donations from grateful patients. It was this generosity and family spirit that eventually lead to the clinic being given a purposed designed facility in 1998.

Although the clinic started with limited staff it now boasts a multidisciplinary team of over 20 members, including nursing, embryology, administrative and medical consultants.

We are proud that many of the founding members are still at the clinic. Mrs Jane Blower is now our Consultant Embryologist and Person Responsible.
